About Kindercastle

At the tender age of 14, Ross Wariner and Cody Uhler sat next to each-other in a high school classroom not knowing that they would spend the next 7 years together following the urge to create musically. Soon thereafter they joined the same band, Ross playing turntables and Cody playing bass. After much dissatisfaction with the creative democracy of a Rock n' Roll sextet, they began working together in a small studio in Ross's bedroom producing crude songs and arrangement under the name Nosforatu.

The music and ideas gradually evolved due to influences such as Jason Severs, Milton Glaser, Peter Max, Philip Guston, Carl Sagan, Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno, the Electric Light Orchestra, and Raymond Scott.
